  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

license key created for another product

Hello,

I'm trying to activate a version 10 TRIAL, installed on win server 2008.

The license key which was sent to my email box is named: ppp_multi_version_unix_key.xml - although i specifically choose the "Get 14-day trial for Windows" when prompt to request a key.

When trying to upload the key, i get this message:
"Error: You are trying to use a license key created for another product. Contact Parallels sales representatives to obtain the proper license key."

I AM able to upload the file to the "Additional license keys" tab, but am still unable to create a domain:
"Error: There are no available resources of this type (clients) left. Requested: 1; available: 0. "

..and also keep getting the notice: "Warning: The product cannot operate yet because there is no license installed. Would you like to evaluate the product for free using a 14-day full-featured trial license?"

btw,
When choosing the UNIX version, still emails the exact same file.

Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm having the same problem - trying to install a trial key for Plesk Windows 10.2 but the key appears to be for Unix.

I tried a couple more times just in case I did something wrong and now I've run out of trial license keys.

If any of the Parallels staff read this - they were requested under the email address I'm registered with on the forums.

Any ideas?

I raised a sales ticket and received a license by email within a few minutes.

So I'm good now - many thanks.
