if one has a plesk license for 100 domains, do co-domains count to this limit ?

No, they only count if you add them as a main domain, eg, not a sub of another.

is that also true for co-domains, or domain-aliases, new in plesk 8 ?
 
Looks to be for just domains listed under "domains". Aliases are a part of the domain account.
