Licensing Server Unreachable

When I try to update my temporary key on a new 1and1.com dedicated server, it says:

Key Update Status
Licensing Server Unreachable: Unable to connect with licensing server.
Please make sure that your network allows communication to ka.swsoft.com:5224.

When I ping ka.swsoft.com from the server, no response however, when I ping it from my home machine it does respond. I check the firewall configuration and all incoming/outgoing traffic is set to 'allowed'. I also activated the firewall configuration to be sure it was active.

My issue seems to relate to this:

It seems like ka.swsoft.com is blocking traffic from 1and1 or vice versa.

Port Block

Apparently I had to call 1and1 to have some port block, which is enabled for new servers, removed.
