• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Limit outgoing mail *per month*

dllfpp

New Pleskian
Hey there, first post here.

I've been looking for a way to limit outgoing mail per user monthly.

Let's say I want mailbox [email protected] to be able to send not more than 1000 mail per month. I only see hourly limit, but no daily/weekly/monthly basis.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Thanks!

The main scenario for which outgoing mail limit was done is to prevent massive spamming when the site is compromised.
I don’t really understand why you need a monthly limit, to be honest.

My company would use Plesk as a service provider to manage smtp service for resale. I should create smtp users with monthly limits to be used by alerting devices and not users' mailboxes. If Plesk is not the product we should use, what would you recommend, based on your experience?
Thanks in advance Igor!
