  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Limitations on outgoing email messages

Plesk Buddy

New Pleskian
hi Plesk Gurus

i have a set the default limitations on outgoing messages for 100 mails per hour. What happens if a user wants to send for example 400 emails at once. Does Plesk a mail-queuing and sends every hour 100 mails. So the Massmails would be sent within 4 hours in this example?

thanx alot

If the limit is set to 100 mails per hour the 101 mail message to be send within that hour wil be rejected. No messages are queued.

Is there any way to limit the number of messages a little more? Like I want to make it not 100, but 80 per hour?
