• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi

I'm new to this forum, I currently use plesk 9.3 on a linux platform and looking at moving to windows server using plesk 9.5.

The company i'm looking at moving to have said and i quote:

"I have just had a word with the tech, with Plesk Linux, they won't be able to migrate the data due to different OS. They also informed me that in particular Plesk 9.3 does not have a powerful Backup/restore facility. They can help you with the migration process if Plesk allows them to do so."

Is this true, how easy is it to move my current plesk 9.3 setup and clients over to windows plaek 9.5.

When migrating the data, what information can actually move across - is it the entrie account including emails setting, website, horde emails etc..
