Logging in and setting what the customer sees

Hello all

I just have some questions I am hoping to get some answers to

1) If a customer logs in via the normal login box (http://www.somedomain.com/Login) it automatically open the http://www.somedomain.com/Wizard/Start. Is there any way that it can open to just http://www.somedomain.com/Wizard/ for the customer?

2) If a customer does log in via http://www.somedomain.com/Login they have a few link in the upper right hand side of the screen Support | Help | Go to Admin . Is there any way to hide the "Go to Admin" link without using the http://sitebuilder.somedomain.com/e...ame&Password=password&DisableGoToAdminPanel=1

3) Can the default login box at http://www.somedomain.com/Login be changed to blend in with our other web application login bozes?

4) When using the File Download option in the sitebuilder to make a file available for download I tried to add a PDF file but when I try to save it I get a Message about the filename I choose. Basically my filename is Test-File but the message being returned says "National Characters in file extensions are not supported. Please replace the string 'Test-File' with Latin characters, or append '.0' at the end of the filename" I've no idea why it asks me to do that. If I do it works but I'm using English on an English PC and have never seen anything like this. If I add the .0 it works and if I remove the hypen and use an underscore it work. Whats wrong with a hyphen or a space for that matter?

Thanks in advance

1) As I know it can be done only with External Login functionality. For more info check http://kb.odin.com/en/1324. As I understand "ReturnUrl" ( An URL to redirect to on a successful login ) should be used in this case like:

&ReturnUrl=/Wizard

2) For this you can use special parameter in <sb_root>/config file:

[general]
......
........
disable_go_to_admin_panel = on
......

3) It depends on your system and should be configured on server itself. As I understand you wish to log users in through some your custom interface? You could use Parallels Sitebuilder API for that:
http://www.parallels.com/ptn/documentation/sitebuilder/

4) As I understand this situation was already reported to developers and it should be corrected in nearest time. I will let you know in case of any news.

Concerning point 4), it has been already fixed and will be available with the next hotfix for 4.5 version. Unfortunately, can not say for sure when hotfix will be available but as soon as it is released you will see it in your Parallels Sitebuilder admin CP.
