  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Long pause on loading pages... nginx -> apache issue?

yabado

Regular Pleskian
I have started seeing pages take along time to load on my plesk onyx linux server.

It looks like it is dns, but I don't think that is it. Page is requested and just sits there for many seconds, then the whole pages loads at once.

Is this the nginx proxy waiting on apache and then timing out?

Trying to run down the cause of this issue.

Anyone have any ideas or places to look on this?

Please test your website with Pingdom Tools . It will display where the website needs most of the time, e.g. name resolution, TLS handshake, transport of files, rendering etc. Please report back here where it spends most waiting time.

A complete server reboot has cleared things up currently, but time will tell if it will stick.
