• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Mail Antivirus module issues

Noturns

Regular Pleskian
I have a strange issue. Last night i was configuring In- and Out- settings Mail Protection (anti virus). About a hour later i wanted to configure another subscritpion. And the module was completely gone.

Cannot seem to find the In- and Out- settings panel for my Mail Hosting Antivirus anywhere.

- I tried to reinstall Kaspersky Antivirus. No success
- Install Parallels Antivirus. No success.
- Reinstalled Parallels Antivirus. No success.

I noticed Kaspersky or Parallels Antivirus is not recognized correctly in the Mail Server Settings panel.

Took a couple of snapshots to document the steps i had followed.

And the AV In- and Out- settings are still not available in Mail Server Settings.

Found some very old topics but those have failed to lead to a solution at this moment

Hi Noturns,
The Kaspersky AV module requires a separate license, so you must buy it and install the license before you will get any controls.
Now you have PPA installed again run...

Code:
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam

To rebuild the mail system.
I hope it helps.
Kind regards

Lloyd

EDIT: Plesk Add ons inc Kaspersky - http://www.odin.com/products/plesk/add-ons/

Thanks. :( However it does not explain why we where always able to change settings of KAV.

I changed to Parallels Antivirus for test purposes.
I would like to change back to KAV
Because we require an antivirus on the mailserver not anti-spam only.

Can anyone verify if a license get automatically removed after it gets expired....
