Issue Mail icon and Server Components are missing in Plesk

Somehow I lost access to plesk support, and we are currently facing the problem described in Mail icon and Server Components are missing in Plesk: Warning: permission denied

I have 1 domain with around 800 mailboxes, and I cannot manage mail setting.
It also seems like greylisting have been turned on automatically, and I need to turn it off.

The article also just states that this is fixed in version 17.x but I'm running 12.5 and I don't want to upgrade to version 17 just to fix this issue.

Any thoughts or solutions ?
