  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Mail Problem after Update to 10.3.1

Hallo,

today I updated my Ples from 10.3.0 to 10.3.1.
After updating I can't login for checking Mails anymore. Not with Outlook (POP) and not with Webmail (Horde) Horde tells me, that Username or Password is wrong. I checked with mail_auth_view but LoginData are correct. Its the same Problem with every Mail Account.
Fortunately Mails are received and stored correctly in the Mailnames folders.

Autoinstaller Log tells me, that psa-mail-qc-driver and psa-mail-pc-driver not found in apt-cache. Manual installation is not possible. Not with Apt and not with Parallels Power Panel.

Does anyone have the same Problem with this Update? Does anyone have an Idea? Which further Information do you need to help me?

Regards
Sebastian

Yes, same problem here. Neiter webmail nor normal mail client is working. The problem appeared with Plesk 10.3.1 MU#6.

Could you please provide more details about this problem? Related errors from /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog and /var/log/psa-horde/psa-horde.log would be very useful. Also you can send me in PM loging credentials on your server and we will check problem there if it is possible.

I "fixed" the problem by importing a complete backup of the server with plesk 10.3.0. and an actual data backup. So I can't provide logs anymore. Sorry

After following that article you gave, now I get a 500 Error. It seems like this part of the article caused the trouble:

# rm -rf /usr/local/psa
rm: cannot remove directory `/usr/local/psa/handlers/info': Device or resource busy
rm: cannot remove directory `/usr/local/psa/handlers/before-remote': Device or resource busy
rm: cannot remove directory `/usr/local/psa/handlers/spool': Device or resource busy
rm: cannot remove directory `/usr/local/psa/handlers/before-queue': Device or resource busy
rm: cannot remove directory `/usr/local/psa/handlers/before-local': Device or resource busy

In any case, I dont think anyone should use that article on 10.3.1 because it doesn't appear to work.
