Mail Problems with MediaTemple Dedicated Virtual

Hi guys, I'm in way over my head here technically, so please excuse the noobness.

I have a new MediaTemple DV box with Plesk 8.6.0 running on it. I can get any details you want on the server, but don't know which ones are important.

Anyway, I have a couple mailing lists I set up via the plesk mail system. Very simple - [email protected] sends email to a bunch of other addresses. When I use them I CONSTANTLY get failures on some email addresses, sometime a few, somtimes almost all. It seems to be random as to which ones fail - some are on my domain, some are not.

MT, who I'm otherwise happy with, have been utterly unhelpful with this problem and thrown it in my lap, but I'm way far from being a server admin so I don't really want to start tinkering. The one thing I found that might be of help is that when I look at "Virtuoso's QoS" alerts, there are a lot of Black and Yellow ones. Here's a recent screenshot:

MT says that I'm getting hammered by spammers (the site is a wordpress blog so I'm not surprised), so maybe that's part of it.

Anyway, anyone got advice on where to go with this? I would be willing to pay someone for their time if they think this is a quick fix.

Am I in the right forum?

I guess another question would be - am I even in the right forum for this?
