Mail Redirect with deleting in mailbox

You need to take the tick out of the Mailbox tick box:

Tick in Mailbox means "have a real pop3 mailbox, with email stored on server"

Tick in Redirect means "redirect this email somewhere else"

You have use both, or just one, or none (none means "send to a black hole")

Thank you faris, that's the option I was looking for...

Sry, there's another problem coming up now:

If I disable the mailbox, I'm not able to send mails per smtp via this email-account.

Is there any hint how I can realise this?

In Fact, I want:

A mailaccount with an active redirection configured without storing mails in the own mailbox, but I have to send mails via this mailaccount...

thx,
brainkopp

Hmmmm....

Maybe there's another way, but I would create a second mailbox, maybe even on another domain, with a small (1k or whatever) maximum storage size. Ask the user to authenticate with this second username and password for smtp.

You can't do this with the "real" mailbox because people sending email would receive bounce messages saying "mailbox full".

Faris.
