  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Mail routing

I have a domain which the owner of hosts his emails on a private server, but the web requests get sent to my server.

On my server and under the domain mentioned above I have the 'mail server' aspect switched off, but the website for that domain sends out the occasional newsletter, my issue is the routing of these emails as the owner of the domain should be receiving them but isn't.

If mail for a specific domain is switched off, will emails sent from that domain loop within the server? or will they get routed out and through the internet?
