• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Mailbox 'Not Sending' can't be reset

Plesk version and microupdate number
Obsidian v18.0.73_build1800251117.15
One of my clients tried to send too many emails and hit the outgoing mail limit.

I increased the limit on the mailbox level, the domain level, and even the server level. However, in admin/outgoing-mail/general the mailbox still shows “Not sending”.

It seems Plesk never implemented a proper mechanism to reset this state. It doesn’t clear automatically, and there’s no manual reset button. The Refresh button only reloads the list.

To make things worse, Plesk Support has removed the Submit button from the support form, so I can’t open a direct ticket and have to rely on the forums.

Does anyone know how to properly reset this status?

Hello, @InnoDIGI . Could you please try running the repair utility for the domain affected by the issue:

Code:
plesk repair mail example.com

That should update the Plesk database and SQlite database /var/lib/plesk/mail/outgoing/data.db in case there's some inconsistency.
