mailbox report shows incorrect mailbox sizes

When i view the report for one of my customers domains, it shows a total disk usage of 18Gb which a command line 'du' agrees with, but when the report lists the individual mailbox sizes some show correctly and some show as being less than what they should be and also as a negative number as below;

<account> -1 534 MB
<account2> -1 531 MB
<account3> -1 540 MB
(in reality these accounts are 2.6Gb, 6.6Gb and 5.4Gb in size)

i have re-run the ""/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics --calculate-one --domain-name=domain_name.com" script to no avail.
