  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

MailEnable Upgrade

Hi,

We have recently completed an upgrade from Plesk 7.6 to 9.5. We then upgraded Mailenable Standard to the latest version (4.23) and this completed successfully. However, in the "Server Components" screen of Plesk it still shows the Mailenable version as 1.95

Is there a way to get this to update? When I create mailboxes in Plesk it does create them in MailEnable so the intergration APPEARS to be working although I haven't tested everything so I am slightly concerned.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Also, when I carried out the MailEnable upgrade I did select to install the webmail component - I dont know if this makes a difference or not.

The strange thing is that I upgraded this on another server recently and it showed the correct version in the server components screen so i dont understand why it isnt on this one.

OK I have found it! I refreshed and it's now showing the correct version.

Sorry for asking such a stupid question. thanks for your help!
