maillog rotation

Will I break anything if I move the qmail maillog from /usr/local/psa/var/log to /var/log. There is a variable in syslog.conf which points to the maillog location and I wanted to move it back to /var/log so the logrotate would work, but I don't know if SpamAssassin will stop working for example.

There is no problem to change this, but Plesk will not count correctly the mail traffic.
