• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Mailman problem

So I've tried all day, but no avail. I have all the latest upgrades installed on 9.2.3 including any available mailman updates.

Now for the first time I'm trying to set up a mailing list for one of my domains. The UI process for setting things up works, the mailman admin works. I can subscribe users without a problem. Subscription notifications are sent out without problem.

- I'm not running qmail, but rather postfix.
- For the domain in question I do NOT have mail service turned on. Mail is hosted elsewhere.
- I want members to send new mail to [email protected].

Whenever I send an email from the subscriber account to the list address it bounces the message, saying 'relay denied.'

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks,
Juergen

Do you have enabled SElinux there? Check it with 'getenforce' command. As I remember there were some postfix problems when it was 'Enforcing'.
