Mails from MAILER-DAEMON go to spam if DMARC checking is enabled and set as p=quarantine for hostname. I think emails from MAILER-DAEMON should be excluded from DMARC checking because they are delivered locally and do not contain IP or DKIM.
I tried to exclude my hostname by - Emails that are sent locally inside the server are rejected with "DMARC: REJECT message" or "DMARC: message moved to QUARANTINE"
But solution 1 doesn't work.
Solution 2 works but I have to disable DMARC check for hostname.
However, I would like to have DMARC enabled for the hostname because I also send other emails from it externally that have a valid SPF and will pass through DMARC, e.g. cron, fail2ban, etc.
