• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Manual migration restore problem

HaiSoft

New Pleskian
Hi,

I am trying to migrate the data from one Plesk 8.6 server to a new Plesk 9.5 server.
I dumped all the configuration on the old server with this command :
./PleskX.pl --dump-all --configuration-only
as per the KB article : http://kb.odin.com/en/1152

Everything was fine, then I transferred all the configuration data as stated, onto the new server and tried to restore the data via the GUI panel.

No error message, but no data/configuration was restored, and I get the following message in the migration.log file :
[00:53:40 - INFO: 2839 p.log] pmm-ras started : /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/pmm-ras --get-dump-list --type=server --guid=727233e0-d2c2-4ae9-9661-40389d8cce85 --id=1 --name=server --session-path=/usr/local/psa/PMM/logs

[00:53:40 - INFO: 2839 p.log] pmm-ras finished. Exit code: 0

Can you let me know what this means and where .discovered is supposed to be ? Is this a bug, is there a workaround ?
I have another 6 hours to complete this migration, any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Fred
