• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello,

Just wondering if with maps and rejection email is sent to the sender of the refused email. Just in the case a real email was refused, will the person that sent it have any way of knowing.

Thanks for any input into this.

Gary

I can only speak from my experience. I use MS Outlook as my email program. In testing my maps settings, I sent an email to myself but I created a dummy account and bounced the message from an open relay box that I knew was blacklisted in "Spamhaus".

Within the "Outlook Send/Receive Progress" window, Outlook gave an error. The error said that the sending ip was blocked by "Spamhaus" and it also gave a link to go to the Spamhaus site. If you do not look at the "progress window", you would not know what the error was, only that the message was still setting in the outbox, not the sent box.
