• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question mariadb 12.3 performance boot

nMLxTMJTZ

Regular Pleskian
plesk 18.0.80 can upgrade to mariadb 12.3 but the performance boost is not available, why you release a partial support?

Hi, @nMLxTMJTZ . MariaDB support and Performance Booster support are two separate things, so the absence of Performance Booster optimizations for MariaDB 12.3 does not necessarily mean that MariaDB 12.3 support is only "partial."

The primary goal of this release was to add compatibility with MariaDB 12.3, allowing it to be installed and used with Plesk. Performance Booster is an additional feature with its own compatibility and implementation work. Rather than delaying MariaDB 12.3 support until every related feature was updated, the team prioritized making the new database version available to users first. Support for MariaDB 12.3 in Performance Booster is planned to be added in a future update.
