Memory allocation error on MySQL 5

SalvadorS

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

When I try to delete a domain in Plesk 10.4.4 under Ubuntu 8.04 I receive this error:

[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-5.0.96-0ubuntu3]Memory allocation error

I found a article in the KB http://kb.parallels.com/en/113620

To fix the issue plesk reccomends:

Workaround for Ubuntu 8.04
If you are running Ubuntu 8.04, you can either downgrade MySQL back to the 4.1 version or upgrade the OS to Ubuntu 10.04.

But I can´t downgrade MySQL and also update the whole server to ubuntu 10 can originate more problems (I don´t know if it is safe to upgrede from ubuntu 8 to ubuntu 10 a server with plesk). It is possible to fix the problem in another way?

You can migrate your Plesk to new Plesk server on Ubuntu 10.04 or other OS.

Create a new server, with a new IP, migrate hundreds of domains, then change the IP of the server with the old IP... A lot of work. There isn´t an "easy" solution?
