• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved Message from Spamassassin in Spam-Mail

Basic Pleskian
Hello !

After a new installation of Plesk Onyx ( 17.5.3 ), in SPAM mails I can read the
following (at the top of any filtered spam) :

Spam detection software, running on the system "++++++++++++",
has identified this incoming email as possible spam. The original
message has been attached to this so you can view it or label
similar future email. If you have any questions, see
@@CONTACT_ADDRESS@@ for details.

Is " @@CONTACT_ADDRESS@@ " a placeholder, or a wrong setting ?

The installation is new, only mailserver ( postfix & dovevot ) , spamassassin, fail2ban , firewall ...
... no more ...

Thanks for any help !

Bye, Martin

Hi MartinB,

no, this is the STANDARD setting for the current spamassassin placeholders. If you desire to customize it, pls. edit/change it in your "local.cf" - file. :)
