Question might php upgrade created these files?

Richard Follett

Basic Pleskian
I have just installed WP plugin Sucuri and it has highlighted files that are not standard..

I would like to check logs but I am new to Plesk - ?

I do remember installing PHP newer version so might they have come from here?

wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php.orig
wp-admin/plugin-uploader.php
wp-admin/theme-uploader.php
wp-admin/uploader/pclzip.lib.php
wp-admin/uploader/upload.php
wp-includes/functions.php.orig

I am hoping this is not malware- virus

Thank you for your time

Hi Richard Follett,

thank you - can I view these logs from within Plesk dashboard? If so which do you suggest I look at?
Well, you are maybe looking for DOMAIN - related log - files?!? => Home > Subscriptions > example.com > Websites & Domains > example.com > Logs

will there still be data in there from May?
Sorry, but I have no idea, how long you store log - files. The unique setting can be done at: => Home > Tools & Settings > Server Settings

To select a listing of all existing domain - related log - files, you would click here:

=> Home > Subscriptions > example.com > Websites & Domains > example.com > Logs
