• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Migrate from Plesk8 to Plesk9

Hi guys,
I followed the migration-guide on http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk/PPP9/Doc/en-US/plesk-9.0-migration-guide/, but encountered a serious problem... Performing the last step (import migrated files to plesk9 via console) leads to an exception "Backup file has wrong signature for this server".

This is what I want to do:
I have one root-server where all my domains are hosted, its plesk version is "8.0".
Now, i want to backup all my hosted domains on this server, copy the backup to my second root-server (other machine with different ip) and migrate to new plesk version "9".

Is this generally possible?

Thanks for your help :)
