Assuming the OS is the same for each server (let's say, CentOS 4), is anyone familiar with what files and folders to backup and recreate where, in order to migrate a Plesk Linux 8.0 (or 8.1) to GoDaddy's proprietary Simple Control Panel?
Of course I would rather do this as a one-shot, entire VPS migration at once, but doing it one domain at a time (or entire client at a time?) still beats a total recreate from scratch.
Also, what if the OS is different or with another different panel - can this still be done (easily)? Any documented workarounds for OS or panel differences?
Thanks everyone
PS - My existing Plesk8/CentOS4 server has backups disabled (does allow SSH access though of course, and also a single incremental backup from Virtuozzo). The GoDaddy Simple panel only has SSH enabled - no other backup routines available with this default install.
