• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Migrating a vB Forum to a Plesk controled Server

I just setup a virtual server with Godaddy using Plesk.

I cannot figure out a few things.

1. Is it possible to have a exclusive IP address, and put that IP address in a browser to see a site as I migrate it from one server to another? When I try to do this I get the error:
"his is the Pleskâ„¢ default page
If you see this page it means:
1) hosting for this domain is not configured
or
2) there's no such domain registered in Plesk.
For more information please contact Administrator. "

2. How can I determine the the server path to the hosting account for the new website?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Jawinn
