  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Migrating accounts from cPanel

Hello,

I am trying to migrate few accounts ( 30 ) from cPanel to Plesk server.

I was able to migrate the account using the manual migration guide, but all email accounts are lost.

My cPanel is using mdir Mail format, I've seen a temporary fix saying to update: "replace \"mbox\" \"mdir\" -- /usr/local/psa/PMM/agents/cPanel9/control/cPanel9.xsl"

but I cannot find cPanel.xsl file only an xsd file which doesn't contain anything about midr or mbox.

Any help is greatly apperciated.

Not a complete solution, but I use imapsync to transfer mail between servers during migrations. Added advantage here is that it works with anything provided it supports imap on both sides (Ms exchange, cpanel, lotus, etc)
