• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Migration/backup transert problems

Benoit Boucher

New Pleskian
Since a couple of months, I try to migrate one plesk server to 2 others plesk server

At first, I was able to transfert some site via the migration point. But at a certain point, it stop working, i couldn't even connect via the migration tool from any of the 2 new servers. (those 2 servers could still connect together in migration manager).

I decide to start backup site by site manually with the backup manager at each side, since some of them going to one server and some to the other.

I transfert over 100 websites but now have 5 websites that I cant transfert via backup manager. Those are to big (from 6 gb to 20gb). I try to higher the capacity from 2gb to 20gb for the upload of backup but the browser lose connection after a couple of minute uploading. I try to make a backup and install it manually in a ftp storage that I access via the new hosting but when I try, i receivve this message:
The backup of the type cannot be restored now. To restore it, log in as the backup owner and click this backup name in Backup Manager.

What option do I have to finish those transfer ?
