  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Migration from 7.5 to 8.2

New Pleskian
I try to migrate accounts from a 7.5 server to 8.2, but the 8.2 creates DNS records with the old SOA and NS settings, new domains in that server create ok. I have to adjust manually the NS records after migration an that's a lot of work. Is there a way to migrate and have the other server create the settings for the migrated domain with SOA and NS's reflecting the new server/secondary.

Hello epschol,
The default migration behaviour is to create DNS records using DNS zone template at first, then add migrated dns records from the source domain. Could you please clarify what is wrong with NS records after the migration? Are the migrated domains have DNS records from DNS zone template?

Thanks.
