• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
    To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Hi,

I want to migrate from an old server with confixx 3.1.2 to a new server with plesk 8.0.0.

The Migration-Manager connects correctely and gets the information from the old server, but the migration fails. The trackback shows:
------
File "/usr/local/psa/admin/share/supervisor/processor.py", line 115, in doActivityRunner
newState = self.doActivity()
File "/usr/local/psa/admin/share/supervisor/processor.py", line 368, in doActivity
state = self.translateDump()
File "/usr/local/psa/admin/share/supervisor/processor.py", line 359, in translateDump
cmd.spawn()
File "/usr/local/psa/admin/lib/python/subproc.py", line 217, in spawn
proc.run()
File "/usr/local/psa/admin/lib/python/subproc.py", line 174, in run
BaseSubprocess.run(self)
File "/usr/local/psa/admin/lib/python/subproc.py", line 158, in run
self.wait()

BaseSubprocess.wait(self)
File "/usr/local/psa/admin/lib/python/subproc.py", line 166, in wait
raise SignalException(self, os.WTERMSIG(status))
SignalException: <unprintable instance object>

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance!

same problem

i am getting the same error migrating from PLSK 8.0.1 to PLSK 8.0.1

it looks like if the domain has a lot of data this happens

anyone know what to do

Yup yup...

Same problem as I attempt to do a "test" restore.

Anyone able to get around this?

I'm glad I did this. I hope that these backups are useful and I have no idea what I would do if something were to happen at this moment.

I had this problem when running pleskrestore.

Actually, the exact error was different, but I'm sure the cause is the same.

I re-installed Fedora Core 1 with a different package selection and it worked great after. It seems like an OS-related issue.

Hope that helps.
