I have a box running Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 3 with Plesk 7.0.4 and another box running Centos 4.3 running Plesk 8.0.
I had migrated a domain from the first box (Plesk 7.0.4) to the second box (Plesk 8.0). A couple of days later it was determined that we would no longer be hosting the domain and so I deleted the content from both boxes. Later that day I was told that this was a mistake. I have no back-ups anywhere.
Digging around a bit I found all of the content from the site in the migration archives. So I tried to point the migration manager at the directory containing the dump.xml of the site in question (by specifying the containing directory as the "Working Directory"). The migration claims to complete but the domain appears to not have any hosting configured (this is not the problem, I can fix this) but also none of the email content is being restored/migrated, the email accounts are not even being created. But if I look in the archive directory in the migration's working directory I can find all of the email "boxes", or whatever you want to call them, sitting there in clearly named files that can be extracted as tar/gz files.
I need to restore the emails. Can somebody help?
