  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Migration of a Mailinglist not possible

djimno

New Pleskian
Hello.

i have a problem. I want migrate a mailinglist from Server A to Server B, both with Plest 12.5. I get always the error:

"Execution of /opt/psa/admin/plib/api-cli/maillist.php --create listname -domain domain.de -notify false -email [email protected] -passwd '' -passwd_type encrypted -ignore-nonexistent-options failed with return code 1. Stderr is Can not create new mailing list: Mailing list already exists. "

What can i do?

What about removing mailing list with this name from Server B before migration?

But, the first Servermigration aborted. And now it is not possible. I think, that somewhere in the pleskdeepness, the list exist. When i want to delete the list on the server with ssh, mailman says, that the listname not exist.

What sort of output following SQL query on Server B psa database:

mysql> select * from MailLists where name = 'mailinglistname';

?
