Server operating system version
CentOS 7.9

18.0.56 #2
Is it possible to use the migation tool in order to migrate the content of a Centos7 system to a server that uses alma8?

You can either to an in-place conversion with this tool which will keep all data as it is, but just upgrade the operating system:

Sound not very good. I'm disapointed.

They look a lot, but which of these actually apply to your individual setup? I found that on my servers none or only very few apply. But I opted to use the centos2alma conversion script anyway.

So I should convert the old server from CentOS7 to Alma8 and transfer the data to the new server?
