• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I am trying to migrate the user accounts from a Plesk 7.5 reloaded installation to a Plesk 8.6 installation (both linux)

I get the following error from the migration client at Plesk 8.6 server:

Cannot send scout to the remote host

Failed to execute scout.
The return code is 127
The output on STDERR is
sudo: not found
sudo: not found

Someone knows what could be wrong?

Hello,

This error means that migration manager failed upload agent to the remote server or the connection with the remote server was lost.

Migration Manager uses SSH protocol for uploading of migration agents to source server and dump files retrieving. Make sure that:

1. SSH server is running and SSH (22) port is opened on the source server (you are performing the migration from),
2. SSH server on the source server allows connecting it with SSH version 2 protocol,
3. you are able to login from destination server to the source one via SSH under the user you specified during the migration. Also check that you can transfer a file from the source server to the destination Parallels Plesk Panel server with scp command.

Please, also make sure that the migration id performed from Parallels Plesk Panel for Linux, as migration from Parallels Plesk Panel Windows to Parallels Plesk Panel UNIX is not supported now.

Thank you
