Issue Minecraft IP + port to subdomain

dunno

New Pleskian
Hello, since yesterday I ask myself how to point a subdomain of my domain to a Minecraft server IP.

I set up a A record like this
Typ: A:
Domain name: mc.mydomain.de (I didn't set up a subdomain in plesk for mc)
IP: IP without port of my Minecraft server

Then I created a SVR record:
Typ: SVR
Service name*: something random
Protocol*: tcp
Domain name: mc
Prio: 0
Target host: mc.mydomain.de
Target port: port of my Minecraft server (not a standard port)

In Windows nslookup mc.mydomain.de does only result in showing the IP of my webserver, not my Minecraft server.

What could be the problem here?

Well, assuming that you added the A record correctly, try this;

# plesk repair dns

Where do I type this in please? First time I use Plesk.

I do NOT have a Server for me alone - I just rented a webspace with Plesk.

That command would require root access. You really should contact your hosting provider for assistance as they would be best to assist you.

Player created works and ideas are immortalized in thousands of Minecraft servers. For me the most important is the good connection with the server and unlimited storage for creating as many objects. The servers that I play GGServers | Minecraft Server Hosting are located in nine different countries that can guarantee the most stable connection and the best ping without lags.
