Mod_rewrite apache

I have windows plesk 8.6 with IIS, apache tomcat on a windows server 2003.

I want to use the mod_rewrite of Apache, so I checked if the Loadmodule line was uncommented in the httpd.conf and it was.
    So the mod_rewrite should work.

But when I add commands in my .htaccess, it doesn't work. It does nothing.
So if someone could advise me, it would be great.

I noticed something in the httpd.conf, plesk doesn't put virtual host.

    Thanks for your help.

(ps: I don't want to use isapi rewrite, because the lite version doesn't support multi sites).
