  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Mounted Migration Missing Mail and Site Files

Hi there,

We are using plesk 9.5.3 and recently had to perform a pleskx.pl backup and restore owing to a hacked server (managed hosting my a***).

When we restore to the new server using migration manager (and pleskx.pl method), we successfully create all domains and clients, but our backup (dump.xml) just will not restore our website files and emails.

I am not just a freeloader expecting time, expertise and advice for nothing, we have paid for Parallels support but our documentation tells us we can expect to wait 24 hours just to hear from them (you?)

We have around 30 gb of data and 100 sites.

I will be so grateful if anybody can suggest a fix or some things we can try to get old content and mail accross.
