Question Move a created website to a git repo

Basic Pleskian
I have had a developer create a website and it is direct on the server. However we would like to involve a second developer now. The first developer has recommended that we manage this through git.

Is it possible to connect git and plesk and have plesk send the all the current files to GIT?
