• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Move default Inetpub directory

How do I move the default Inetpub directory form my C drive to another and have Plesk recognize this?

Have you downloaded the new patch from the sw-soft website?

If so, you should be able to move the default directory and also re-apply all the correct permissions to your current installation.

However, I must say I have not tried moving the default directory yet, so I would take a backup etc. I have re-applied the permissions stuff though using the 'repair' facility.

(you will need to register for free though)

thanks! i got the patch and was able to move my websites and default mail folder too.

I just purchased Plesk for Windows 7.6.

Where/how do you change the default directory where Plesk creates virtual WWW directories ?

Thanks,
