• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Moving Domains

I have a Plesk 7.5.6 for Windows server with a couple hundred domains on it already. I need to move about 40 domains from a Plesk 7.0.3 for Windows server to this server. Can I use the backup/restore tools for this?

Just want to make sure restoring a few domains doesn't wipe the current config in favour of the incoming domains...

Do I select "Restore control panel configuration and server settings"? The documentation isn't exactly clear...

You do not need to include 'Sever configuration' into Plesk backup. It's necessary only when you try to move or restore whole Plesk configuration. It's absolutely not needed when clients or domain are migrated.
