• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

MSSQL Database manager

Scenario - standard Plesk installation

MSDE installed and configured by plesk install - not seperate MSSQL installation.

Currently, we have these problems...

When user tries to open the database manager they receive errors related to access for unrelated databases.

If they try again a few times sometimes they can get access to their database.

When they do have access, they are unable to modify any tables

They are unable to delete the database or the database user from within plesk.

I'd like to know how many other people are experiencing these problems.

It is possible to toggle off db_owner role for database user in mssql web interface. May be this user accidently toggled this off and is now longer db_owner?

It could be that the db owner role is not added at all. I will check this. Thaks for the suggestion.
