Multiple DNS Server IPs

Hello,

I currently have my server setup for ns1.server.com and ns2.server.com.

But I have a few websites which I would like to point the dns to ns1.somethingelse.com and ns2.somethingelse.com.

I have 5 IPs total

Allocated like this:
NS1
NS2
SECURE

I have 2 erxtra, which I would like to use for the new ns1 and ns2 name servers.

Is this possible? And how do I set it up in Plesk?

Thanks.

This isn't something you do in Plesk, it is something you'd do via your domain name registrar.

Via your registrar for somethingelse.com, just create the nameserver hosts records for ns1/ns1.somethingelse.com pointing to whatever IPs you want. They can be the same IPs as you have for your current namservers.

Then you change the nameservers associated with whatever domain you want to use them with, and it is bacially done.

You will need to have A records in the DNS for somethingelse.com pointing to the same IPs as you used when creating ns1/ns2 and you will want to have NS records of ns1/ns2.somethingelse.com for each domain you are using ns1/ns2.somethingelse.com with.
