• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Multiple Email Accounts Across Domains

I have lots of accounts with WH4L and I am looking to move to a dedicated server (not with WH4L) and basically become a hosting company. I use the DotNetNuke (DNN) portal application framework for hosting many sites on a single install.

One DNN group that offers dedicated servers uses the Plesk control panel. They are saying that Plesk does not allow for more than one instance of an email address on a single install of DNN. In my case, I will be installing many websites on a single DNN install. So if I have multiple websites on a single DNN install then [email protected] would alias to the same account if I created [email protected]. This will not work for me.

I currently use WH4L and I know that using SmarterMail I can create the same accounts across multiple domains and they do not alias to the same account. So I know it can be done. I read one of your forum posts that seemed to indicate that there is a setting regarding email accounts in Plesk that will allow the same account name to be used across many domains without them all pointing to the same account.

Thanks for any clarification you are able to offer.
