Hello,

I have a big problem since more 48hours. I'm going to tear my head off. really.
I just want to create a new wordpress multisite.

and add some wordpress website ( new all will be new no old website wordpress)

So I create my first wordpress site.
Create network confiture, wpconfig and htaccess so all si good. I use sub directory ( but the same with subdomain).

So I'm going to my dashbord network admin --> add new site ( https://domain1.com/domain2) I create it But If I edit this site and change URL adress with : https://domain2.com it doesn't work.

My domain are hosting on LWS and all My domain point to my server ( independently If I create one wordpress sepearate for each one it works)
I added domain on my plesk but, when I add on it asks me If I want blank page wordpress .... ( I tried wordpress, blank ... no works)
I already tried to add an alias ... But it's just a redirection ... no works....

I don't know what to do it seems nobody had my problems .. something wrong ? I can give you some screenshot or anyway ...

I juste want them to be connected for not have to install the same plugin and have one superadmin to check all

If someone can help mee ...

Wrong approach, because then the .htaccess file in the layer above also works on the subdirectory.

It won't work if you nest domains.
Instead: Create additional domain names as "alias". Your multisite installation will react on the correct domain. That's what it is for. It is NOT advised to actually create an additional Wordpress inside another Wordpress or another document root directory inside of a document root directory. Just have one single document root directory for one domain and add all others as aliases.

When creating an alias for a multisite you needs to disable redirection (redirect with the HTTP 301 code) in order to no longer be redirected and wordpress can process your 2nd domain (if properly configured in multisite).
