MySQL 5.5 for CentOS 6.6/Linux

having similar problem. I wan tot update mysql to 5.6 and I have cents 6.6 installed.
 
if there's a safe way to update mysql to the latest version having still Plesk please post it.
Not sure is doable I tend to have full control of my server, Plesk is a little bit strange to me.
