mysql config file

Originally posted by MaRiOs
Any one knows where the config file of mysql is located?

locate is your friend:
locate my.cnf

or have a look at the MySQL variables it might also tell you where the my.cnf is located.

I did that before posting but the info inside that file looked to me so small..that I was curious..

Someone asked me what is the number for the CurrectConnections in mysql and I was looking for it.I couldnt find this anywhere so I asume now that its unlimited.

CurrectConnections???

But look in a phpMyAdmin - the server Variables page will show you what settings is currently being used. Or you can always do it in the mysql console: SHOW VARIABLES;

he askes how many users/connection it can take in the same time....

You need to have a look at

max connections and
max user connections

I think.
