MariaDB Master-Master cluster: Can't resolve host..?

MEssage in Mariadb log: ""Temporary failure in name resolution""

But i use the ip when create cluster: CHANGE MASTER TO master_host='x.x.x.x'

???


It's not a genereal MariaDB problem: When i test it with 2 Raspis and Raspbian Buster, it works with (private range) IP.

Damm even I am having a similar kind of issue, I have searched all over the internet and even have posted on number of threads on different forum, no solution seems to work. I am really frustrated, can anyone of you here help me resolve this issue, I am very much tired now.

In my case, it just seems to be a (harmless) warning - i think the "problem" is that there isn't an existing DNS PTR entry for the IP address...

Does somebody know how to avoid / suppress that warning? Thank you for your feedbacks.
